Various armoring or shielding options are available at Dekoron including interlocking strap armor, served wire armor and the unique Dekabon^®; moisture sealed aluminum or copper tape shielding. All these armors or shields provide some mechanical protection to the cable. All armored cable receives a second jacket to protect the armoring. Multiple armor layers can be supplied with a jacket layer between each armor layer.
